Lincoln Was First to Trump Constitution

YouTube personality "Sage Wanderer" recently posted a video questioning a report by Alex Jones which states:

"President Trump is planning to carry out mass arrests of deep state traitors, including Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, James Comey and even Barack Obama. This is fully covered, with accompanying documentation from the U.S. Federal Register."

The Jones' report also states:

" The confirmation of Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court is the key to getting this done in a timely manner, which explains why the deranged Left is going to such outrageous extremes to fabricate false allegations against Kavanaugh and stage coordinated, well-funded protests to try to block the U.S. Senate from confirming him.

Once Kavanaugh is on the court, it will add the necessary support for constitutional “emergency powers” that concentrate power in the executive branch of government (currently headed by President Trump) during times of war and national emergencies."

While Sage questions the accuracy of this report (as do I) he goes on to state that no one has ever suspended the Constitution of go after criminals of the government.

While I am a fan of the Sage here's the thing...they have.

Both Presidents Lincoln and Bush have suspended the writ of Habeas Corpus. In an article entitled "A Different View Of The Law Of Habeas Corpus During The Lincoln And Bush Presidencies" author Jonathan Hafetz writes:

"Lincoln initially suspended habeas corpus when Congress was not in session–and hence when legislative approval was not an option. To be sure, the suspension continued without congressional imprimatur until March 1863, and led to the imprisonment of more than thirteen thousand individuals in military jails without charges or trial, including newspaper editors considered sympathetic to the Confederate cause."

Hafetz continues...

"President Bush, by contrast, did not seek temporary limits on habeas corpus, but sought to deny access to the writ to an entire category of people in a conflict he himself insisted was of potentially limitless duration and scope and would last at least several generations. The Bush administration also explicitly discriminated based on alienage, as part of an effort to create a permanent second-class justice system for foreign nationals detained under the elastic and malleable label of “enemy combatant”–an effort that later gained congressional sanction through court-stripping legislation"

I really want to see members of the Deep State arrested , tried and imprisoned for what they have done and , like Sage, I do not agree with the suspension of the Constitution to do it. But the point is, it has been done and as a result of both Lincoln and Bush's actions the federal government has used a crisis as an excuse to increase its power by limiting freedom of the American people.

Fake News and False Information On Mississippi Scalawag Flag Proposal

WREG News Channel 3 (Memphis , Tennessee) is reporting : Photo credit: WREG News 3 "Laurin Stennis’ flag design has gained so much popularity that even those who order the flag want her autograph. She matched the colors exactly to the United States flag. “I think those are wonderful colors and the symbolism is meaningful, but also this is a strong standalone but when you pair it with the United States flag they make a handsome couple,” said Stennis. Nineteen stars circle around a large star, which represents Mississippi as the 20th state to join the Union in 1817. The large star is called Bonnie Blue. Stennis had some help producing the flags with Complete Flag Source. To date, well over 2,000 Stennis flags have been sold." According to the report Stennis' asks: "Is our logo doing it’s job? I would argue absolutely not because every time it comes up we fight about and we get tense.” Okay, where to start? WREG reports that the flag is

The War That Wasn't: The Real Agenda Against All Things Confederate

The illustration on the left is an artist's concept of a Union soldier. I have to admit, I'm quite perplexed by it. Why? I shall tell you why. First he has a rifle. Second he has a uniform, a canteen a bedroll and a knapsack. In other words, this would-be soldier has all of the supplies and equipment that would ready him for a military campaign / battle. Why does this perplex me?  It perplexes me because recent events have led me to the conclusion that the "War Between the States" never happened. Given the events of recent years it's natural to conclude it didn't happen. Fox news compiled a running list of Confederate monuments that have been removed thus far and while the majority of those were at the hands of Democrats, there are several Republicans behind the removal of them.   Below is the list compiled by Fox News correspondent Christopher Carbone. christopher.carbone@foxnews.com Annapolis, Md.
