Rogan's Rules

Admittedly I don't watch or listen to many episodes of The Joe Rogan experience but when I saw Shooter Jennings was scheduled to appear on Rogan's program I tuned in to watch.

I'm not a fan of all Shooter Jennings music but I must say I am a fan of most of it. His new album "Shooter" is a honky tonk masterpiece.

Music aside, I have to admire Shooter for being his own man. He has an independent spirit which has led him to not only become a singer / songwriter but also led him to start his own record company of which he is president.

Naively, I expected Rogan to ask questions regarding Shooter Jennings' new album but instead all I saw was Rogan baiting Jennings into questions regarding Alex Jones and conspiracy related subjects. When Jennings tried to answer them Rogan would either talk over or interrupt him.

You can't mention Alex Jones these days without approaching the subject of the 2012 Sandy Hook school shooting. It was during this discussion that Rogan declared he could not have Jones on his show again. At least not until Jones' legal problems and censorship issues are resolved.

Jennings tried to defend Jones stating that he has not done anything different than he always has and explained "That's just who Jones is".

When Jennings (who believes Sandy Hook did happen) brought up the subject of an interview in which it is believed Anderson Cooper was utilizing a "green screen" ( evidenced by the disappearance of Cooper's nose during the interview) Rogan states they have the clip. It just so happens to be a clip that is titled "Anderson Cooper's disappearing nose green screen clip debunked."

Before the clip is played Rogan exclaims "Oh it says debunked" then plays the clip. The clip shows the interview at normal speed ( the video must be shown in slow motion to see the discrepancy) at which point Shooter interjects, "Naw that can't be it".

The clip chosen by Rogan and his crew was done so on purpose, yet Rogan acts surprised that the video says "debunked".

All one has to do is go to YouTube and type in "Anderson Cooper caught on green screen" and the video in slow motion appears. I might ad that the video appears before the "debunked" version on the search results list. In the slow motion version it is easy to see Cooper's nose disappear indicating that he is using a green screen.

Furthermore, this is not the only time Cooper has been caught using a green screen.  Cooper has also been caught using a green screen while covering the Ukraine civil war.

Rogan , touts his credentials by noting the that he used to host his own show entitled "Joe Rogan Questions Everything." A program that explored conspiracies but never found any to be true. For this, Rogan considers himself an expert. In the off chance anyone dares to question those credentials and think for themselves rest assured he will do the necessary prep work and stack the deck to prove his point.

Fake News and False Information On Mississippi Scalawag Flag Proposal

WREG News Channel 3 (Memphis , Tennessee) is reporting : Photo credit: WREG News 3 "Laurin Stennis’ flag design has gained so much popularity that even those who order the flag want her autograph. She matched the colors exactly to the United States flag. “I think those are wonderful colors and the symbolism is meaningful, but also this is a strong standalone but when you pair it with the United States flag they make a handsome couple,” said Stennis. Nineteen stars circle around a large star, which represents Mississippi as the 20th state to join the Union in 1817. The large star is called Bonnie Blue. Stennis had some help producing the flags with Complete Flag Source. To date, well over 2,000 Stennis flags have been sold." According to the report Stennis' asks: "Is our logo doing it’s job? I would argue absolutely not because every time it comes up we fight about and we get tense.” Okay, where to start? WREG reports that the flag is

The War That Wasn't: The Real Agenda Against All Things Confederate

The illustration on the left is an artist's concept of a Union soldier. I have to admit, I'm quite perplexed by it. Why? I shall tell you why. First he has a rifle. Second he has a uniform, a canteen a bedroll and a knapsack. In other words, this would-be soldier has all of the supplies and equipment that would ready him for a military campaign / battle. Why does this perplex me?  It perplexes me because recent events have led me to the conclusion that the "War Between the States" never happened. Given the events of recent years it's natural to conclude it didn't happen. Fox news compiled a running list of Confederate monuments that have been removed thus far and while the majority of those were at the hands of Democrats, there are several Republicans behind the removal of them.   Below is the list compiled by Fox News correspondent Christopher Carbone. christopher.carbone@foxnews.com Annapolis, Md.
