The May / June issue of The Barnes Review magazine is out.  In it , appears my article about Edward O'Kelley, who killed Jesse James assassin Bob Ford. O'Kelly's father was a Union soldier but O'Kelley was raised by his Confederate grand parents.  For as long as I can remember both the Republican and Democratic parties have had their fair share of Lincoln defenders. The Republican Party was founded with the election of Abraham Lincoln thus Lincoln has been the party's trademark so to speak. Southern Poverty Law Center Founder Morris Dees Tried to Molest Step-Daughter Chances are that if you're reading this you have heard of The Southern Poverty Law Center. The non for profit legal organization that has provided information to law enforcement and is a "go to" source of information by almost every reporter that encounters a "controversial" story. Widely known for its defense of Civil Rights the SPLC has filled its coffers defending the oppressed and exposing hate-groups, at least that is how the organization wants to be perceived.
